My passion and the main focus of my work is the releasing, and resolving of the emotional drivers to disordered eating which often stem from anxiety issues. This can manifests itelf in yo yo dieting, anorexia, or binge eating that can lead to obesity. Often the pattern of emotional eating is established at an early age, or came about in response to a particular set of challenging circumstances. Over thinking about food can for some become a strategy for survival, while disordered eating can for others be a subconscious refusal to thrive.
The therapy tools I work with are powerful, and you can learn them for yourself as tools for life. They can create rapid, and enduring change in as few as six sessions.
I offer everyone interested in my work a obligation-free one hour consultation. This is an opportunity to meet, and for me to begin to find out more about your patterns of behaviour and emotions around food, and for me to explain more fully how I work.
